Jan.12,.....Florida League of Martial Artists at their yearly awards dinner the Sokeship council honored "Pappasan" with recognition of 10th Dan for his founding of Kojido jitsu with a beautiful certificate signed by the peers and officers of the council.
Jan. 13th at the promtion and awards dinner of Soke Lawrence's schools in Tampa,Florida "Pappasan" was honored by founder Lawrence as an Honored member at his school with an award from his Zen Tae ryu assn.
Feb. Master Paul Mormando founder of World Martial Arts newspaper & society awarded "Pappasan" THE MARTIAL ARTS ICON AWARD"

Dr.Joe Parrish hosted in Baltimore,Maryland his yearly prestigious World Head of Family "Hall of Honors" (Pappasan couldn't attend due to his family celebrating his 78th birthday) but he was given a standing ovation as a Living Icon in martial arts. "Pappasan"was awarded on a very large beautiful engraved plaque "Founder of the most prestigious and Elite assn. WOMAUSA.
Nov."Pappasan" was awarded a document written in hebrew making him an "Honorary Instructor of KAPAP. by the founder of the Israeli Special Forces system,Major Avi Nardia.

March 25,2006(Tampa,Florida): Florida League of Martial Arts presented to GM Stern the "Golden Life Achievement award".
August,Grandmaster Stern awarded the prestigious medal of honor from Grandmaster & founder of the World combat martial arts federation in Latvia,Europe.
July: International Combat Martial arts Union(Latvia,Europe)President & founder MIhails Pupinish awarded Grandmaster Stern the "Medal of Honor" from his association .
Sept.At the World Mixed Martial arts Hall of Fame in Cleveland,Ohio it was given to GM Stern for his years of service and dedication to the martial arts the award of "LIVING LEGEND" plus the prestigious title of O'Sensei.

July: United States Martial Artist Assn. Hall of Fame in Maryland awarded Grandmaster Jack "Pappasan" Stern the Platinum Life Achievement award for his years of practice and teachings.
August: Soke Dave Shelton (founder of the Matsumura Seito Society) appointed Grandmaster Jack "Pappasan" Stern as a Senior Adviser to his association.
Dec.13,2003 in the closing of the year Grandmaster Jack "Pappasan" Stern was honored to receive the new title of "Ichiban Shogan",which means Number One Shogan.
